Mumbai street food · St Merryn, Padstow
Spices shipped direct from Reggie’s family in Mumbai. Rice grown on Nisha’s family farm. Twenty-four seats, one small kitchen, and a menu cooked exactly as it should be.
Our story
At Reggie’s, every meal is a seat at our family table — authentic recipes, shared with love.
Our story began in a family kitchen on the outskirts of Mumbai, where recipes were passed down through generations. Every curry and spice blend was about one thing: bringing people together over good food.
When we opened Reggie’s in Cornwall, we promised ourselves we wouldn’t change those recipes to suit trends or take shortcuts. We cook exactly as we always have — the food our family eats at home.
Reggie’s mum still hand-blends every spice mix in Mumbai, using the same trusted family recipes.
Each small batch makes the long journey to Cornwall, bringing a little piece of home to every dish.
No factory mixes, no compromises — just patience, tradition and a mother’s touch.
Our rice comes from Nisha’s family paddy fields near Mumbai, cared for by generations.
By the time it reaches your table, it has travelled thousands of miles carrying memories of home, family and tradition.
Our roots will always be in Mumbai, but Cornwall is now home too.
Family spices meet Cornish seafood, locally sourced meats and fresh produce.
Ancient recipes meet incredible local ingredients — two cultures, one shared love of honest, generous food.
We believe the best meals aren’t rushed.
They’re the ones where conversations linger, laughter grows louder and strangers leave as friends. That’s the feeling we hope you’ll find here.
Whether you’ve grown up with these flavours or are discovering them for the first time, every bite is made with genuine care.
From our family in Mumbai to our home in Cornwall, thank you for taking a seat at our table. We can’t wait to serve you.
Welcome to Reggie’s.
“I wanted to bring the authentic flavours and tastes of Mumbai to the streets of Cornwall.”
Reggie — Head Chef
